Digitization of monuments of the castle complex in Podhorce

In October 2016, the Lviv Art Gallery, Lviv Castle Foundation and the Polish Guild of Gutenberg Knights have come to an agreement. As part of the agreement, the task of the Guild was to carry out the process of applying for co-financing under the program of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Our proposal was approved by the MCO board - the next steps were to set up an executive team and then to digitize, develop and make available the collections.

As a result of the work carried out within the framework of the task is documentation, digital inventory, scientific studies and conservation guidelines of the palace complex in Podhorce. The results of the work included in the set of documentation, which will be the starting material for further specialized research. An important value of the documentation will be the state of the current object. Plaster damage that exposed the construction of the walls and details will allow the development of techniques for reconstruction and reconstruction of destroyed elements.
The documentation of the implementation of this task will be the basis for the development of the palace revitalization program.
